C.D. Distalizer

The C.D. Distalizer is a fixed orthodontic appliance used to distalize molars on either the upper or lower arch. Patients and doctors have had good acceptance due to its easy wear and adjustability. The C.D. Distalizer can be used in either unilateral or bilateral configurations and allows doctors to gain approximately one millimeter of distal molar movement per month. Johns Dental uses a heavier wire, allowing more bodily movement of molars, with less crown tipping.

Our standard design consists of a lingual guide wire and tube to deter molar rotation. Design modifications include the addition of an anterior midline screw, Nance button or Wilson lingual tubes. Our technical support staff is available to help you with any questions or concerns.
