Keles Slider

The Keles Slider appliance is a molar distalization appliance used to correct Class 2 malocclusions. To avoid the uncertainty of patient compliance with headgear or removable appliances, many doctors are increasingly using fixed intraoral devices such as the Keles Slider. The molar movement is achieved using Gurin locks and open coil springs. A Gurin lock wrench is required to make the necessary adjustments (also available at Johns Dental). After distalization is complete, the appliance can be converted to a Nance appliance if desired.
