It is typically used in more severe Class 2 cases when the patient cannot initially protrude to full advancement. We have three types of Orthopedic correctors available, each specifically designed to either correct a deep bite, close an open bite, or to simply maintain the vertical dimension while advancing the mandible. Often used at night time in conjunction with the Witzig Splint.[/ultimate_heading][ultimate_spacer height=”50″]
